With fire now visible on the fringes of Chapman, I parked my car at a house with the greenest lawn in Rafferty Street, then walked up Sorlie Place to where a large spot fire was running through some back yards and crowning in trees and shrubs to offer assistance to the residents firefighting with garden hoses"--Note from the photographer.
