Summary

Robert Tickner, Minister for Torres Straight Aboriginal Islander Affairs in the Keating Labor Government is determined to press on with his legal attempts to prevent the Hindmarsh Bridge from being built on the lower Murray in South Australia. Perhaps he needs to be reminded that Carmen Lawrence's high-flying lawyer was not too successful in the High Court when she was appealing against the findings of the WA Easton Royal Commission findings.--Information provided by Geoff Pryor.
