Jean Hugard (4 December 1872 - 14 August 1959) was an Australian professional magician. He was born John Gerard Rodney Boyce in Toowoomba, Queensland, and his main stage name was Jean Hugard. He worked in the Queensland National Bank in the 1890s and set up the Endeavour Meatworks which collapsed in 1902. He worked as Secretary of the General Hospital in Toowoomba. He eventually began his professional theatrical career in 1896, and performed in vaudeville in the United States from 1915. When he retired frm performing he became the editor and publisher of many magic-related publications including "Hugard's monthly". Hugard died in America.
