Correspondence, memoranda, reports, submissions, legal and financial papers, drafts and cuttings of articles and speeches, photographs and other papers. Primarily relating to the ABC, including staffing, organisation and funding, together with such matters as the shooting of ABC correspondent Tony Joyce, Zambia, 1979; the appointment of Geoffrey Whitehead as ABC Managing Director, 1983; the 'Four Corners' program on Papua New Guinea, 1984; and the case of Molomby vs Whitehead and the ABC, 1986. Revill's writings concern such issues as public service broadcasting, 1985, the European Broadcasting Union General Assembly, 1991, and his role as an advisor on election coverage to the South African Broadcasting Commission, 1994. There is also a file relating to Revill's role as Chairman of Visnews Ltd.
Among the correspondents are T.W. Bearup, Sir Richard Boyer, Veronica Brady, Sir Talbot Duckmanton, Robin Hicks, Alasdair Milne, John Muldoon and Geoffrey Whitehead.
