National Library of Australia's SR3 set rebound, preserving leather with gilt decorations from a previous binding; volume 1 inscribed on the first free endpaper in pencil, "at page 134 in this book is a true character of my Dear, Dear S----" and ink, in another hand "Yes, and so is S---- you are very right ----W---- I perfectly agree with you in opinion----"; volume 2 has an acrostic in pencil tipped onto front inside cover and other manuscript notes in ink to the rear.
