- Strip map extending from Alice Springs, N.T. to De Grey River, W.A. and the Indian Ocean. This map shows the route of the expedition lead by Peter Egerton Warburton, retired South Australian Police Commissioner, as a party of seven including his son Richard Egerton Warburton, and features their camps, water holes and water courses. The expedition left Alice Springs in April 1873 and arrived at Roebourne, W.A. in Jan. 1874. Their route passed through Lake White and Emily Springs, south of Balgo, W.A. and across the Great Sandy Desert. Relief by hachures, with spot heights, with annotations on topography and vegetation.
