- "Abraham Weatherwise" is a common pseudonym in almanacs. The actual calculator was Nathanael Low. The calculations on the calendar pages, and the eclipse predictions on p. [2], are identical with those in his An astronomical diary or almanack for 1804 (Shaw & Shoemaker 4561). The astronomical and meteorological notes on the calendar pages also duplicate Low's except for being fewer in number.
