Summary

"Individuals affected by intersex conditions may experience discrimination on the basis of their genetic condition, physical attributes, gender identity and disability or impairment directly or indirectly as a result of their intersex condition. This discrimination is usually the result of ignorance and/or unfamiliarity about intersex conditions and the issues faced by those living with them. This submission will discuss these issues in further detail and then discuss the various laws in NSW that adversely impact upon those with intersex conditions."--P. 6-7.
