There is information about training for the ancient games, competing, the closing ceremony and how the games finally ended. Then the book moves to an examination of how the Olympic Games were revived by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, and there is a brief history of the Games since 1896, including which sports have been played, disputes and disasters and facts and figures.
