The Sunday panel. 1.US President Ronald Reagan jokes that he has passed legislation to outlaw the Soviet Union forever, and that "the bombing begins in five minutes". Not everyone is laughing. 2. After serving time in the sin-bin in the aftermath of the 'Paddington Bear' affair, Mick Young is re-instated in the Hawke Ministry. 3. The police are directed to remove the Aboriginal flag from a flagpole in front of Parliament House -and make a meal of it when the rope breaks and the pole has to be removed.--Information provided by Geoff Pryor.
