- Summary:
-
Old Parliament House and Curtilage was the home of Australia's Federal Parliament from 1927 until 1988 and was the setting for many major events that have reflected Australian democratic values and demonstrated our parliamentary political process. The Minister for the Environment and Water Resources and the Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts have prepared a draft management plan for 2007-2012, to protect and manage the site's Commonwealth Heritage and National Heritage values.
