- Summary:
-
To many Australians, ANZAC Day simply means a day off. So what happens if it should fall on the same day as another public holiday, say Easter Monday. It seems that both are to be observed on the same day - much to the disgust of some who might see it as a loss of the entitlement of an extra day. One wonders what the diggers might have thought about it all.--Information provided by Geoff Pryor.
