Summary

This drawing was made in Canberra at a NCDC meeting, the subject is "The demise of Connor, Minister of Finance", over the "Loans Affair". During the day the news came that Connor was fired by Whitlam. Fred turned the drawing upside down and announced, "This is the Fall of Rex Connor"--James Mollison.

Inscriptions: signed in medium lower left corner; "N.C.D.C."--In pencil centre right edge.

Has a pencil sketch of three people on the verso, left James Mollison, middle Colin Madigan [?] and right Fred Williams [?].
