MS Acc08.059 comprises papers relating to Roger Cross' book about nuclear weapons testing at Maralinga and the Montebello Islands, Beyond belief: the British bomb tests: Australia's veterans speak out (with Avon Hudson, 2005), including correspondence with veterans and official bodies, transcripts of veterans' personal histories, eight audio cassette tapes of interviews with veterans, and, some published material about testing and radiation. Cassette tapes and computer disks are in box 3 (3 boxes).

Teacher, historian and academic. Roger T. Cross is a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne whose books include Teaching science for social responsibility (with R.F. Price, 1992) and Fallout: Hedley Marston and the British bomb tests in Australia (2001).
