- "This folio of ten etchings printed directly from John Shirlow's etching plates commemorate John Shirlow's contribution to Scotch College where he served as Art Master from 1927 until 1936. The etchings were printed at the atelier of The Lytlewode Press in Southbank, Victoria, Australia on Schutt pure rag paper 250 gsm manufactured in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The folio has been crafted by Fred Pohlmann, master binder of Brisbane, and has been created as a facsimile of John Shirlow's 1904 folio, 'Five etchings'. The folio is backed in Kangaroo skin. This copy of 'Ten etchings' by John Shirlow has been produced specifically for Scotch College, Melbourne and is limited to one hundred Copies."--Colophon.
