Summary

The Honourable William Cox AC, RFD, ED, QC, became the 26th Governor of Tasmania in 2004 and served in that capacity until April 2008. During his time as Governor he delivered over 500 speeches on a variety of topics and from them he has selected some 70 excepts, most of which are devoted to some aspect of Tasmanian history, culture or lifestyle. He has a whimsical sense of humour which makes his informative addresses entertaining reading.
