In Australia, the first time Jacky Kala Kala went to school he went as a teacher. Jacky Kala Kala is a full-blood tribal Aboriginal who lives at remote Bamyili, an Aboriginal township in Australia's sparsely populated north, 400 kms south of Darwin, capital of the Northen Territory. Aged about 40, Jacky Kala Kala spent his childhood in a traditional tribal setting and did not receive any formal education. Today, however, he attends school regularly to teach traditional cultural skills to the Aboriginal children at Bamyili.-- On verso.
