Summary

"Iwaidja is one of a number of highly endangered languages spoken in Arnhem Land. This book is one of a series of guides to areas of the culture and language of Iwaidja-speaking people. The accompanying audio CD helps readers master the sounds of the language. While this volume is intended specifically for health professionals, it provides useful information for anyone going to work in Indigenous communities, no matter what their role may be, or even for members of the general public who wish to know about one of the world's oldest continuing cultural traditions and languages" -- back cover.
