Kenneth Thomas Stagg, an Indigenous separated child and radio program presenter for Wangki Radio (Fitzroy Crossing, W.A.) was born 1959 Darwin, N.T. Stagg speaks about his grandmother and grandfather who were both removed as children to the Beagle Bay Catholic Mission, W.A. in the early 1900s, and about his own removal to Retta Dixon Aborigines Inland Mission Home in Darwin at the age of 2. He describes living conditions at the Home. Following the death of his mother, Stagg was released into the care of his uncle until he was evacuated to Adelaide after Cyclone Tracy in 1974. He also discusses his working life and his efforts to trace his family and arrange a family reunion.
