Summary

It is the year 1800 AD - Jeremy Blade discovers that Silas Cromwell is the ringleader of a large smuggling organisation. He is about to expose him when Cromwell finds out and by clever scheming murders Jeremy's Uncle framing Jeremy of the killing - Tim Hastings is named as his accomplice and they are sentenced to 20 years transportation to the new colony - New South Wales - fate is against them as they are placed aboard Roger Cromwell's ship the "Ruby".
