Joy Lee Coomber (nee Makepeace), born 1972, Wee Waa, N.S.W. Coomber was 5 months old when she was placed as a state ward with an English migrant family, who adopted her ten years later after the death of her birth mother. She describes her childhood with her adoptive family. At the age of 20, Coomber began to seek her birth family through Link-Up and later was reunited with her sister as well as an aunt and a cousin.
