Yunupingu talks about his childhood; school; parents; education in the community and traditional education; Garma Conference; sharing local indigenous knowledge; Olympics and Cathy Freeman. He then talks about the influence of Pastor Bradley in Brisbane; Gove Court Case (1971); Referendum; indigenous leadership; Reconciliation 2000; Native Title; origins of National Lands Council; contemporary politics; role of missionaries; relations with Northern Territory government and seats in Parliament. Yunupingu then discusses 'stolen generation' and individual cases in Northern Territory and other National Lands Council issues.
