National Library of Australia's FRM F14 copy half bound in maroon leather with five raised bands, marbled endpapers and edges; copy numbered 1115; stamped Commonwealth National Library, E29969, 24 Sep 1943.

National Library of Australia's NK3713 copy has been rebound in half black calf with five raised bands, marbled boards, endpapers and edges; lacks title page, frontispiece and the bottom of page 193 (from lot 4140); bears the bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1786/3).

National Library of Australia's NK4358 copy half bound in contemporary calf with marbled paper boards and five raised bands; inscribed in ink inside the front cover, "Mary Esther [Hopkins?] presented by Mrs Coombe. Oct 1842" (possibly Frances Drewitt (1804-1873), Mrs George Augustus Coombe (1799-1857)) with book label of "J. Drewitt" in the of a chest, pasted down suggesting a connection between the bankrupt bankers, dealers and chapmen John Drewitt (1769-1842) and James Hopkins of Arundel in Sussex; and in pencil, "Thomas P. Greig"; copy numbered 1329 and has the prices realised for each lot noted in the margins in a contemporary hand, also the names of purchasers of the more important lots - especially natural history items - and calculations for each day's sales; includes various notes and press clippings loosely inserted; also bears the bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1786/4).
