- Topographic map of Australia (in greater detail) and New Zealand. It includes cities and major towns particularly along the coastline. For Australia historic trails and explorations are indicated, the latest being 1873 when Peter Warburton discovered the Great Sandy Desert in the northern part of Western Australia. Note also that the Northern Territory is named Alexandra Land (a term that the explorer John Sturt favoured) though it was never formally named such. Relief is shown by hachures.
