Biodiversity summary brochure which provides an overview of the strategy. It explains why the strategy has been prepared, gives an overview of the biodiversity values within Bankstown and provides a synopsis of the main strategies. A strategy to set the future management direction for the protection and enhancement of biodiversity within Bankstown. Council already undertakes many initiatives that are concerned with protecting and enhancing the environment. However, there is a need for a more strategic approach to these initiatives to ensure that we are providing the best possible protection to the environment of Bankstown -- website.
