Summary

Typescript with minor annotations of an unpublished novel (348 l.), 'Five pretty sisters', written by Helen Armstrong or Millicent Armstrong or both in collaboration. The novel is based on an actual event that occurred in the Gunning district of New South Wales where the authors lived. It depicts life in a small country town and on neighbouring sheep stations in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales in the era of the horse and buggy.
