John Waters was born and raised in Victoria and worked in the Insurance industry. He settled in Tasmania and after retirement became involved in the Mens Shed movement. He describes his role in the movement; obtaining funding; aspects of the Tasmanian association; the formation of Pete's shed in Bridgewater; the variety of clients it caters for; outcomes from the Mens Shed movement.
Jeff White is a former ambulance officer who has been workshop manager at Pete's Shed since his retirement. He talks about his life experiences and how he has utilised many of these skills in his current voluntary position; the shed's role with the intellectually and physically disabled ; the administrative structure of the home shed; Pete's Sheds role in the formation of other sheds in Tasmania.
