The development of economical feedback scoring systems for reusable kindergarten workbooks is described. Three prototype systems were developed--(1) a metal foil activating an electrical probe, (2) a metal foil reacting with a magnetic probe, and (3) invisible fluorescent ink revealed by the application of longwave ultraviolet light.
