Chris Nunn discusses his family background and childhood; schooling; playing sports from an early age; leaving school and finding employment; coaching school children in sports; marriage and relationships; receiving a degree in Physical Education; teaching in Adelaide; competing in athletics at the Commonwealth Games (1982); the Australian Championships; the Los Angeles Olympic Games (1984); retiring from competitive sport (1989); opening a general store; working for the Australian Paralympic Committee; becoming involved in Paralympic coaching; volunteering at the Seoul Paralympic Games (1988); being the first person in the world to be paid as a professional coach of athletes with a disability; his coaching philosophies and approach; his motivation for coaching athletes with a disability.

Nunn discusses working at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS); introducing scholarships for athletes and coaches; coaching involvement and successes at Paralympic Games (1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2008, upcoming 2012) and World Championships; the integration of disabled and able-bodied athletes in AIS programs; changes in public attitudes towards people and athletes with a disability; the cost of equipment for athletes with a disability; funding; sports science programs; future trends and visions for coaching athletes with a disability; pathways for coaches and administrators; the range of disabilities represented in Paralympic Games; particular athletes with a disability and their successes; Australia's standing in world disability sport; his influence internationally in disability sport; people who have influenced him; establishing a swim school in Canberra (2004); the transferability of skills between sport and business; honours and awards received; his family and parenting.
