This practicum report describes the development of a handbook for Masters in Business Administration (MBA) students at the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University, Florida. This project included a literature review, a review of handbooks from other universities, generation of a list of topics, development of an initial draft, revision, production of a final document, and recommendations to pilot test the handbook with a focus group of new students and to place the handbook on-line for periodic updating. Individual sections of the report introduce the project, review the literature, explain methodology and procedures, report results, and present conclusions and recommendations. The handbook itself is appended. This 34-page guide covers such topics as: the school's mission and goals, the student's rights, the student's responsibilities, the MBA program, scheduling of classes, specializations, registration, the productivity improvement workshop/master's project, grading and academic probation, computer support, syllabi, libraries, the honor society, the Graduate Business Student Association, the alumni association, tuition discounts, textbooks, housing, student insurance, financial aid, career resources, student grievance procedure, the Code of Student Conduct and Academic Responsibility, portfolio guidelines, and maps.
