This document provides data on the characteristics of each public and private postsecondary institution in the state of Maine. Telephone numbers, Web site addresses, accreditation information, tuition and fees, enrollment and awards data, programs offered, and financial aid information are included for each institution. Part 1 contains data for all public institutions in Maine, and part 2 contains information on the Technical Colleges in Maine. Part 3 presents figures on the private colleges in the state, and part 4 lists colleges by regional and national accreditation and by their 1994 Carnegie Classification. An index of institutions is also provided. Data were gathered from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System survey, the National Center for Education Statistics Web site, and the Web sites of individual institutions. This document does not include information on Maines proprietary institutions. (SLD)
