Biography/History

Voula Messimeri-Kianidis (AM) is CEO of the Australian Greek Welfare Society and has been prominent in multicultual organisations for some years. She was the first woman Chair of the Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia (FECCA) and a Victorian Women's Honour Roll inductee. She coordinated the Victorian Immigrant and Refugee Women's Coalition (VIRWC) and has served as Chair of the Women in the North Service, as a Council member at the RMIT University as well as on a number of State and Federal advisory and policy structures.
