Summary

Features a painted illustration of an angel who is dressed in red, and standing one foot on the globe with her foot on Australia. She is holding two curved trumpets which extend from her mouth to either side, and from which banners are furled bearing the date. A large banner containing the title extends across the top of the poster. Behind the angel Sydney Harbour is shown, with the rays of the rising sun over the Sydney Skyline radiating in pink and yellow. The foot of the poster contains classical rococo-style decorations which include two naked reclining men and garlands of flowers.
