Summary

Colbung, Aboriginal activist and Indigenous separated child speaks about being removed from his mother and being sent to the Moore River Settlement, W.A. Later he was transferred to Sister Kate's Children's Home. He compares the living conditions at Moore River with conditions at Sister Kate's. He recalls his memories of Ruth Lefroy and Sister Kate Clutterbuck. When he left Sister Kate's he went to work as a drover in the Pilbara before joining the Army. Colbung talks about his involvement in Aboriginal politics and about the effects of separation on himself and his family.
