- Library's SR copy is inscribed "From the author to his esteemed friend H. Duncan Esq. MD" and is in a quarter bound blue Morocco folding case with gilt lettering. The pamphlet's original owner, the medical practitioner Handasyde Duncan (1811-1878) emigrated to South Australia in 1839, and was the author of The Colony of South Australia (1850). Sir John Ferguson later cited this inscribed copy in his bibliography from the collection of the Adelaide historian Travers C. Borrow (1881-1957).
