Yabaroo was the pen-name of Alexander Stewart Cameron.

National Library of Australia's SR 499.1509941 Y11 copy lacks yellow paper wrappers and advertisements; bound in contemporary dark maroon pebbled cloth (rebacked) with presentation bookplate of the Library of the Royal Colonial Institute, dated August 1899 - donated by R.C. Hare Esq. [Reginald C. Hare (c1854-1933)] who worked in the Western Australian Government Service from 1881-1911; some manuscript corrections or additions in pencil throughout.
