"On 20 November 2012, the then Attorney-General, the Hon Nicola Roxon MP, and the Minister for Finance and Deregulation, Senator the Hon Penny Wong (Minister), released the Exposure Draft of the Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Bill 2012 (Draft Bill). On 21 November 2012, the Senate referred the Draft Bill to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee (committee) for inquiry and report by 18 February 2013.2 The reporting date was subsequently extended to 21 February 2013"--Page 1.
