Summary

Poster advertising a demonstration with a photographic image of the nuclear bombed landscape of Hiroshima on the top half; text against a yellow background on a diagonal across the middle; and on the bottom half, a photograph of a a crowd of demonstrators wearing elongated skull masks with the three sector circular radioactive warning symbol printed on the forehead. The demonstration involved assembling at Franklin Square, a march through the city, and a rally a Brooke St. Pier. Joan Coxsedge (MHA Vic) is one of the advertised speakers. Following the rally is a festival for life all afternoon at Long Gallery, Salamanca. Associated events are a vigil, Monday August 6th at Franklin Square, and additional silent vigils the same day at Cygnet and New Norfolk.
