Wittenoom discusses his path to his occupation and various aspects of his career; talks about his family; his childhood in Albany; his family history; his father, a former Mayor of Albany; his life in Bridgetown; his involvement with the Warrup Forrest preservation organisation; tactics used to create awareness of the environmental impact and the use of music and media to transmit the message; music and song writing during his yachting years; his ongoing involvement with the Royal Perth Yacht Club; the culture and folklore of the organisation; his rise to the position of Vice Commodore; mentions the 1983 America's Cup racing event; and the relationship between the Bond Corporation and the Royal Perth Yacht Club.
