Among those honoured recently was Miss Madge Wilson, of The Steppes in the island state of Tasmania. At 92, Miss Wilson is belived to be Australia's oldest rainfall observer; Mr Gilbert Duthie, MP, at the presentation to Miss Madge Wilson at a Civic Reception at the Bothwell Town Hall.
