MS Acc13.194 comprises the journal of Alexander Barnett, detailing his voyage from Scotland to Australia and then his time spent in Sydney and subsequently on the gold fields in Braidwood. The voyage to Australia finished in May 1852, after which Barnett spent some time in Sydney before leaving for Braidwood on June 10. Barnett appears to have stayed on in New South Wales after the goldrush, as his name is listed in a Sydney newspaper in 1856 (1 volume).
