Biography/History

Eric Jolliffe was born in Portsmouth, England in 1907 and moved with his parents to Australia when he was four years old. He left home at a young age and travelled Australia before studying art. His comic titles include 'Old Andy', 'Jolliffe's Outback', 'Saltbush Bill', 'Sandy Blight', 'Andy', 'Tom Flynn' and 'Callaghan's Kids'. He also self-published 'Trent of the Territory'. Eric Jolliffe received the Stanley Award for Excellence in Black and White Illustration.
