Poster issued by the Cross Border Collective as part of their "We don't cross borders; borders cross us" poster series designed "to invite an engaged audience to consider a series of propositions about the Australian border, labour, race and incarceration." This poster features an image of a man in black standing on a fish with a white net superimposed against an orange background. Small white figures walk along his arms. "Having lost access to their traditional waters, many Indonesian fishermen turn to people smuggling to survive. Of over 400 men arrested for people smuggling, only 4 have been oragnisers of criminal syndicates. All face a mandatory sentence of 5 years if convicted" appears in the top right corner of the poster. "www.crossbordersydney.org" appears in the lower left corner below the series title.
