Advertisement encouraging the public to subcribe to the fifth liberty loan in 1917. Features image of "Liberty" holding a torch and standing atop a globe which is surrounded by a leafy garland. A winged figure approaches her with a an olive branch. "Authorised by the Commonwealth Treasurer" appears at the foot of the message which appears inside an ornate frame on the right hand side of the image. The image is signed "G.C. Pearce 17" in the lower right corner. "No. 55" appears in the lower left corner of the image. "This advertisement is one of a series prepared by members of the N.S.W. Ad. Men's Institute" appears below the lower border of the image.
