Morrison discusses the photographs taken by his wife Hedda while they lived in Hong Kong. He talks about her camera technique, use of filters, darkroom work, enlargers used and choice of film paper. Morrison also talks about her printing of postcards for sale; culling of work; attitude to copyright; nature of streetscapes and the use of her photographs in the first post-war Hong Kong government report (1946). He then describes her method of preservation of photographic material; cropping of images and difficulties in having work published. Morrison then shares his memories of the destruction of the memorial erected by the Japanese to honour their occupation of Hong Kong. He then discusses her photograph of a Hong Kong bank; her great interest in recording the local people and their activities and the types of cameras that she employed.
