Carey, J.B. Chifley, J. Curtin, Dr H.V. Evatt, A.W. Fadden, C.H. Hoskins, Sir Norman Kater; J.T. Lang, W.K. McConnell, J. McGirr, W.J. McKell, J.J. Maloney, R.G Menzies, E. Thomson, E.J. Ward, R.W.D. Weaver, W.C. Wentworth; and printed matter including issues of Hard Comment, Spotlight, A.P.S.A. News and Sound Finance.
The Acc06/84 instalment comprises correspondence, including with R.G. Menzies, minutes, financial records, press releases and subject files on people and on political and economic issues. In addition, some papers relating to the Constitutional Association of New South Wales and the Constitutional Association of Australia.

The Institute of Public Affairs was officially formed in New South Wales on 18 February 1943 to act as a vehicle for informed public opinion on economic problems and the political and social welfare of Australia, while maintaining an unceasing opposition to socialism. The Institute of Public Affairs became the Sydney Institute in 1989.
