MS 10141 comprises various documents including photographs relating to the opening of the George Knowles Building; certificates, medals and insignias; and an autograph book containing the signatures of the attendees to the first assembly of the League of Nations (1920).
- Biography/History:

Sir George Knowles was Adviser to the Australian delegates attending the League of Nations Assemblies in 1920 and 1924 and the Imperial Conference in 1937, and Secretary for Australia in the British Empire delegation to the Washington Conference on the Limitation of Armaments in 1921-22. He succeeded Sir Robert Garran as Solicitor-General in 1932.
