Brian Syron, actor, director, acting teacher, Black Theatre filmmaker, founder Black Playwrights' Conference, Aboriginal Theatre trust.
Robert J. Merritt, playwright and author of The Cake Man. Merritt founded the Eora Centre for the Visual and Performing Arts in Redfern in 1984, in an attempt to provide training in the arts for Aboriginal Australian students.
