- Summary:
-
Emotional striptease explores the early colonial portraiture of the Aboriginal people of Australia. It places contemporary Aboriginal people within hyperreal settings, using as backdrops new buildings housing art and culture- the Australian Centre For Contemporary Art, Melbourne Museum and Federation Square. Emotional striptease comments on both historical misrepresentations and contemporary relationships between people, space and country.
