Collection of images taken during the Melbourne Centenary of 1934. Prominent buildings were illuminated. Prince Henry, the Duke of Gloucester visited Australia on a royal tour in 1934, a major purpose was to participate in the centenary celebrations of the state of Victoria. The Duke of Gloucester also unveiled and dedicated Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance.
